• Country analysis to identify generic locations for new development
• Local site identification and evaluation for suitability
• Identification of project specific permitting requirements
• Management of the preparation of permitting documentation
• On ground expedition of permits and authorisations
• Identification and engagement of project commercial counterparties
• Development with Project Technical Advisers of EPC specification, management of facility procurement process, bid evaluation and negotiation of EPC contractual terms
• Development of Project Operation & Maintenance Budget, identification of potential O&M suppliers, management of O&M procurement and negotiation of contractual terms
• Interface with local electricity and gas infrastructure providers
• Negotiation of key project commercial terms
• Preparation of project information for management and financial institutions
• Maintenance of development budget and reporting of expenditure against budgets
• Maintenance of relationships with in-country partners, regulatory and government institutions
• Overall coordination of project development process on behalf of client
