Fear Of Tweeting.

I know many people are resistant to the whole notion of Twitter. Andrew Collins tried it for a day and a half and then bailed. It is fair to say that it's not for everybody. The best way to explain it is that it's like the status bar on Facebook, but nothing else. So you can just make mini statements on it. What you're up to, what's happening. It is in essence a crystallisation of what the internet is best at. Brevity, speed and trivia. This morning as an experiment, I threw out an old phone in idea we did on GLR. Band/Actor crossovers, with the two kick off examples being Doctor Geilgud and Wilfred Hyde Whitesnake... I had thousands of responses and was briefly on some twitter register as the third most tweeted person.It won't change your life, it's a distraction, it's very trivial. But it's a laugh at times. Below is just a sample of some of my favourite tweets sent in on Saturday morning. I stress again, this is just a fraction of what I was sent... Also as Twitter has a quick turnover, I was unable to retrieve all the good ones that were sent to me in the first hour of playing this game, for which I apologise to all the very funny people who sent stuff in....
